Define Intermediate Organization details

Some details for a Intermediate Organization are defined in the District view. Additional details are defined in the Intermediate Organization view.

To define your intermediate organization’s details:

  1. Log on to the Intermediate Organization view.
  2. Click the associated tab.
  3. On the Setup side-tab, click Details.
  4. Use the following table to complete the fields:

    Follett customer ID

     

    Identifier

    Type the identifier for the district.

    Name

    Type the intermediate organization's name. This name appears at the top of every page in the system and on every report.

    Phone 1, Phone 2

    Type the intermediate organization phone numbers.

    Address line 1,
    Address line 2,
    Address line 3

    Type the intermediate organization addresses.

    Time zone

    Click the Time zone drop-down to select the time zone that most closely matches the time zone for your organization.

    Note: This will usually be the time zone where your server is located and acts as the default time zone for the system. Intermediate organizations will default to the root organization's time zone if a time zone is not specified in the organization's details. If time zones are not set for the root organization or intermediate organization, the server's default time zone is used.

  1. Click the SIF Configuration sub-tab to define your intermediate organization's SIFClosed an open-standard specification that allows school software applications from different vendors – such as student information systems and library automation software – to interact and share data details.
  2. Click Save.
