Print a payment receipt

If a full or partial payment has been made for a fine or fee, you can print a receipt for that payment.

Payment receipts can be printed from a number of views and pages in Aspen, including the Student tab and the District or School tab.

Note: If you do not have a receipt printer set up, you can print a Payment Receipt report from the Reports menu.

To print a payment receipt from the Student tab:

  1. Log on to the District, Intermediate Organization, School, Staff, or Health view.
  2. Click the Student tab.
  3. Select the student you want to print a receipt of payment for.
  4. Click the Transactions side-tab, then Payments.
  5. Search for and select the checkbox next to the payment you want to print a receipt for.
  6. Under Payments, click Details.
  7. Click Print Receipt.

To print a payment receipt from the District or School tab:

  1. Log on to the District or School view.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In the District view: Click the District tab, Cashier's Office side-tab.
    • In the School view: Click the School tab, Cashier's Office side-tab.
  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the Cashier’s Office side-tab, click Cashier’s Office. Select the date of the payment you want to print a receipt for. Search for and select the checkbox next to the payment. Under Cashier’s Office, click Details.
    • On the Cashier’s Office side-tab, click Payments. Search for and select the checkbox next to the payment you want to print a receipt for. Under Payments, click Details.
  1. Click Print Receipt.
