Synchronize your schedule matrix with the schedule expression

If you notice that the schedule expression tied to a course does not match the detail of that expression, you need to synchronize them. For example, maybe you copied a scenario with numeric periods to one that uses letters to represent periods.

Important: Most people do not use this option without the help of Technical Support.

To synchronize your matrices and schedule expressions:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Log on to the School view, and select Schedule > Sections.
    • Log on to the Build view, and select Workspace > Sections. 
  1. Select Options > Synchronize Schedule. The Synchronize Schedule pop-up appears.
  2. Select if you want to synchronize the current sections or all sections.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • If you've changed the name of a day or period, and need to update the expression, select Matrix to expression.
    • If you've created a day or period, which you need to add to your matrix, select Expression to matrix.
  1. Click OK. The system updates the incorrect matrices or expressions.
