Define commit schedule controls

Define commit controls for each school to determine the dates during which users can commit the master schedule.

Note: Your district must determine commit controls in the district scheduling preferences.

To define commit controls for one school:

  1. Log on to the District view.
  2. Click the Schedule tab.
  3. Click the Commit Controls side-tab.
  4. On the Options menu, click Add. The New Schedule Commit Control page appears.
  5. At the School Year field, click Search icon. or type the school year you want to define the commit control date range for.
  6. At the Name field, click Search icon. or type the school name you want to define the commit control date range for.
  7. Define the Start and End dates.
  8. Click Save.

To define commit controls for several schools at the same time:

  1. Log on to the District view.
  2. Click the Schedule tab.
  3. Click the Commit Controls side-tab.
  4. On the Options menu, click Prepare Commit Controls.
  5. Select the School Year, and enter the start and end dates.
  6. Select the schools you want to define this commit control window for.
  7. Click OK. These controls appear on the Commit Controls list page.

To view details about commits made:

Click Commits on the Commit Controls side-tab. For each commit, the page lists the commit history of the school, including the name of the scenario committed, the date the scenario was committed, and the user who committed it.
