Create a lunch configuration (Elementary scheduling only)

Set up your cafeteria locations and parameters on the Lunch Configurations tab. Lunch configurations are global and apply to all scenarios.

To create a lunch configuration:

  1. Log on to the Build view. If the current school has the scheduling mode set to Both, select Build > Elementary mode
  2. Select Scenario > Lunch Configurations.
  3. Select Options > Add. The New Schedule Lunch Configuration page appears.

  1. Type a Lunch Building Id. This appears under the SecType column on the Workspace tab.
  2. Type a Lunch Building Description.
  3. Define the lunch parameters for this scenario by typing the following:
    • Lunch start time
    • Lunch end time
    • Lunch interval (number of minutes for each lunch time)
    • Lunch table counts (number of tables in the cafeteria)
    • Lunch table capacity (number of students who can sit at each table)
    • Lunch entry doors
  1. Select the Allow simultaneous group? checkbox if more than one student group can attend lunch at the same time.
  2. Click Save.
