Reassign schedule days on your school calendar

If your school uses a schedule with schedule days, and you define a day to be not in session on your school’s calendar, you might want to renumber the schedule days to match the days school is in session.

For example, assume your school uses a 6-day schedule, and you define that school is not in session on Friday, September 30 for a professional development day. September 30 would have been Day 5 in your schedule. You can reassign schedule days so that it is Day 5 when your students return to school the following Monday.

To reassign schedule days:

  1. Log on to the District view.

  2. Select School > Calendars.
  3. Select the appropriate calendar, and click Dates.
  4. Select Options> Reassign Schedule Days. The Reassign Schedule Days pop-up appears.
  1. Enter the start and end dates of the change you want to make. For example, if you want the days to renumber until the end of school, enter the date school is next in session for the Start Date, and enter the last day of school for the End Date.
  2. Select the initial schedule day you want to start with on the start date, and click OK.
Note: If you want your schedule days to match the days school is in session, you need to reassign schedule days for every day you define as not in session on your calendar (except weekends, if your school is not in session on weekends).
